How does it work?
We review your written-off debt, with the aim of finding debts that have been written off incorrectly. All you need to do is provide us with a copy of your write-offs, ideally in an Excel spreadsheet, and we can start our review process.
What are the most common reasons for a debt being written off incorrectly?
There is a multitude of possibilities. For instance, it is possible that the trading style of the company was incorrect and that the company was in fact a sole trader or partnership whilst your records showed that it was a limited company. In this case the sole trader or partners would still be liable for the debt.
Will this be a drain on our company’s resources?
No it won’t because FRL carries out the majority of the groundwork. We start with an Excel spreadsheet which allows us to eliminate those accounts that have been written off correctly. We are then left with a short list of accounts that require further investigation and will request supporting documentation for these highlighted accounts. |
